Integration with Excel
Several tools support integration with Excel. These tools typically show two choices
Export data to Excel
Several tools such as markers, deviation, measurement, floor flatness, clash detection export their data to excel. The Excel data template is picked up from the directory of BloomCE distribution - typically c:\Program Files\BloomCE. As an advanced usage, users can modify this template for their use. However, they are recommended to discuss with BloomCE support to be successful in this effort.
Control view of Bloom from Excel
This is a unique feature of BloomCE Desktop, that lets users find their excel data rows for correspondence in 3D view of BloomCE. As an example, if users have exported several markers to excel and large number of markers make it non-trivial to find them in the 3D view, then users can click on the above "link" button to start an interactive session between Excel and BloomCE. As users move their cursor from one row to next, the pivot of BloomCE also changes to show the object on that Excel row. Users are recommended to view a video tutorial to use this functionality.
